Sunset/Nightime photography attempt

Still trying to work out manual settings, but I only had to jiggle these a little on ps.  I used the flash in some pics. I was hoping to capture the falling back on the trees.
I would like to practice night time photography a little more...when time permits.

Easter Weekend learning

I Haven't done a post for a while, but have taken lots of photo's, deleted lots of photo's and made lots of mistakes.. so I guess I am getting there.

Have had a really hard time getting photo shop... lack of funds... what a pain in the ...

Anyway, here are some photo's I took with the hope of being able to use in my series of 6 photos...

I took over 1000 pics, many were over exposed, some were under exposed and some were ok.  Unfortunately too many were blurry, maybe it is my eyes that are blurry...  I had my camera booklet and class notes with me for the entire Easter Weekend to learn how to use the manual settings my new camera and I have to say, that it helped, even if just a little. Below are a stack of photo's which I have played with, some were beyond repair.  I find I have a fondness for using the saturation and vibrance in ps...my eye likes colours a little brighter than they might actually be.  I used a lot of the ps exposed alterations due to the terrible job I did setting my camera.  Camera settings were f.5,1/60  with iso of 400... I think iso was the problem, should have been 100.
